How to clean hand washing soap dish

Soap dishes are convenient ways of keeping soaps covered and clean when not in use, as well as preventing soap from lying around. The problem with soap dishes however, is that they accumulate bits and pieces of soap and develop water and soap stain, which can be tough to clean. To clean hand-washing soap dishes, try to get into a routine habit of cleaning the soap dish with a scrub and running it under a stream of warm water regularly. Regular cleaning will prevent accumulation of soap pieces and water stains. For a hand washing soap dish that has gathered a layer of soap, place it in a vessel filled with warm water to loosen the soap scum. Baking soda or vinegar may be used for thick or stubborn stains. The layers can be scrubbed off and an old tooth brush can be used to scrub the corners of the hand-washing dish clean.
