To clean high chair safety straps
The high chair safety straps, an important feature of high chairs are very prone to getting greasy thanks to the way babies spill food all over themselves while eating. The high chair safety straps are usually made of nylon or similar material so that it is both tough and has some elasticity. To keep the nylon strap clean, use a damp cloth, if needed dipped in soapy water to remove any food that falls on it. The straps are usually such that there are grooves or tucks in it to give it the needed elasticity. To clean in the grooves, use a damp sponge, dipped in soapy water and clean in the direction of the tucks or groves. If needed, dry vacuuming can be used to suck up the food particles. When the high chair is cleaned, care needs to be taken to ensure that the safety straps are cleaned and well dried as well.
