Of all the nostalgic memories that one has of childhood, the Enid Blyton books that one read as a child brings a smile on the lips whenever you think of it. No childhood can be said to be complete with having read Enid Blyton’s mystery books or the School series for girls like the Malory Tower Series and the St. Claire Series. The Famous Five and the Secret Seven crime buster gangs and the mystery solving characters have become our childhood friends. In fact so popular were the books that one wonders, quite sadly if the same popularity remains today with reading becoming a rare activity.
